If you’re feeling lucky, you might want to check out the famous Kerala Lottery Scheme. Every week, on Mondays, the scheme offers the Win-Win lottery with three grand prizes up for grabs. The first prize is a whopping Rs. 75,00,000, which is given to one lucky winner. The second prize is Rs. 5,00,000, awarded to a single individual, while the third prize of Rs. 1,00,000 is given away to twelve winners. Bear in mind, however, that these prizes are only available if the 8 alphanumerical digits on your ticket match the serial number exactly. So ensure your ticket includes a six-digit number and two alphabetic characters, like WW 000000, to be in with a chance of winning big!

The prizes from fourth to eighth place are worth Rs. 5000, Rs. 2000, Rs. 1000, Rs. 500, and Rs. 100 in that order. But there’s a condition: you’ll only receive these prizes if the last four digits of your lottery ticket match the winning numbers. Keep in mind, there are twelve series of Win-Win paper lottery tickets, but only one will be chosen for the first prize. Don’t be too disappointed if you don’t win the top prize, because holders of other series with the same number will still get a consolation prize of Rs. 8000.

Kerala Win Win Prize Claim Procedure

If you happen to win the Win Win Prize in Kerala, then you must make sure to follow the proper procedure within 30 days after the draw date. In order to claim your prize, you will need to personally present the first and second winning ticket to the esteemed Director of State Lotteries, or alternatively send them through an insured registered post, Nationalised, Scheduled Banks, State or District Co-operative Banks. It is also necessary to bring along all the necessary documents for verification purposes. For those prizes that amount to less than Rs.1,00,000, they can be claimed at either the Lottery sub-offices or District Lottery Offices.

In the event that the winning ticket holder resides outside of Kerala and their prize claim is equal to or greater than Rs. 1,00,000, they are required to submit their claim to the Director of State Lotteries. The winner must ensure that their signature is affixed on the back of the ticket in the provided space. Verification of the ticket’s authenticity through counterfoils or other methods, as determined by the Director, is mandatory prior to prize payment. It is important to understand that claims made for damaged or altered tickets will not be considered. Additionally, each ticket is only eligible for the highest prize it has been awarded. It is important to be aware that, in accordance with the Finance Act (Central), any applicable Income Tax and Surcharge will be deducted from the prize amount at source.
