Saturday Lottery Karunya Prize Structure
The Karunya lottery, a part of the Kerala Lottery Scheme, is an exciting draw that takes place every Saturday, with a prize structure that includes three main categories. The top prize is an incredible sum of Rs. 80,00,000, which is awarded to one fortunate winner. Kerala Karunya Prize Claim Procedure
To claim the Kerala Karunya Prize, winners must take action within 30 days of the draw. The top two winning tickets, along with required documents, must be presented in person to the Director of State Lotteries. Alternatively, they can be submitted through insured registered post or certain banks. For prizes under Rs.1,00,000, winners can claim their rewards from local lottery offices. However, if the prize amount exceeds Rs.1,00,000 and the winner resides outside of Kerala, they must present their claim to the Director of State Lotteries. Winners must sign their name on the back of the ticket in the designated area. Prize money will not be issued until the ticket’s authenticity has been validated with counterfoils or other methods determined by the Director. Damaged or altered tickets are not eligible for claims. It’s important to keep in mind that each ticket is only eligible for the highest prize it has won. According to the Finance Act (Central), Income Tax and Surcharge will be deducted from the prize money.
