The Kerala State Lotteries has released the live draw results of the Akshaya AK-620 on October 8, 2023 (Sunday). The list of winners and their corresponding numbers can be viewed via the official website of the Directorate of Kerala State Lotteries at www.lotteryagent.kerala.gov.in. The results are declared daily at 3:00 PM, and the full list of winners in PDF format will be published around 3:50 PM. Clients can also access the live result through the official YouTube channel of Kerala lottery ticket buyers at www.youtube.com/@kslott/streams.

The Department of Kerala Lotteries is responsible for conducting weekly lotteries from Monday to Sunday. However, in the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Department reserves the right to either cancel or postpone a weekly or bumper draw. It is to be noted that weekly draws will not take place on national holidays and significant regional holidays in Kerala.

Sunday Lottery Akshaya Prize Structure

The Kerala Lottery Scheme presents a Sunday Lottery known as Akshaya, which features three main prizes. The initial prize of Rs. 70,00,000 is awarded to a sole winner, while the second prize of Rs. 5,00,000 is given to one person and the third prize of Rs. 1,00,000 is distributed among twelve winners. It is worth noting that these three prizes are only applicable if the 8 alphanumerical digits on the ticket match the serial number exactly.

The KL lottery ticket number system comprises a six-digit number with two alphabets, such as XX 000000. In contrast, the fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth prizes are only valid if the last four digits on all tickets match the respective numbers. The prize amounts for these prizes are Rs. 5000, Rs. 2000, Rs. 1000, and Rs. 500, respectively.

Kerala Akshaya Prize Claim Procedure

The process to claim the Kerala Akshaya Prize is simple and straightforward. The winners are required to claim their prizes within 30 days from the date of the draw. To claim the prize, the first and second winning tickets must be presented in person to the Director of State Lotteries or via an insured registered post or Nationalised, Scheduled Banks, State or District Co-operative Banks along with the necessary documentation.

The Lottery sub-offices or District Lottery Offices can be visited by those who have won prizes amounting to Rs.1,00,000 and below to claim their prize money. However, winners residing outside Kerala who have won Rs.1,00,000 and above must present their prize claims before the Director of State Lotteries. The winners must sign their name on the reverse side of the ticket in the space provided.

It is important to note that payment will only be made after the authenticity of the ticket has been validated by counterfoils or any other means decided by the Director. Claims made for mutilated or tampered tickets will not be accepted. Additionally, each ticket is eligible to win only the highest prize awarded on it.

Finally, as per the Finance Act (Central), Income Tax and Surcharge, if any, will be deducted at source from the prize money.
